The 2024 Gladiator maintains Jeep's iconic design while bringing out loads of modern content inside and out. While the iconic seven-slot grille remains, the 2024 Gladiator's grille features a slimmer appearance along with a new body-color surround, Neutral Grey Metallic bezels, and black textured slots. The steel mast antenna from previous generations that was notorious for getting caught on branches is replaced by a new windshield-integrated stealth antenna. Other new features include seven new available wheel designs, a new premium soft top, and all-new Anvil paint color. Meanwhile, the interior is upgraded with an all-new 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen. While upgrading to the largest-in-class touchscreen, the center stack features the classic Jeep dashboard layout. The new Uconnect 5 software offers five times faster operating speeds, over-the-air software updates, Amazon Alexa virtual assistant with home-to-car function, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, available TomTom navigation, a customizable home screen with five user profiles, and much more. The new touchscreen uses full-array local dimming backlight technology, improving visibility even with the top off. Meanwhile, the cabin is updated with new slim rectangular inboard air vents while the classic circular air vents remain on the outboard sides. 

One engine is available for the 2024 Jeep Gladiator lineup. And, frankly, one engine is all it needs. Standard equipment for the 2024 Gladiator is the trusted Pentastar 3.6L V6 engine, which is ideal for hauling, towing, and off-roading. The Pentastar engine supplies Gladiator drivers with an impressive 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, fuel efficiency is maximized by the Gladiator's Engine Stop-Start feature, which powers down the engine while idling and restarts it when the brake pedal is released. The Pentastar engine comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission as standard equipment, but an eight-speed automatic transmission is optional. Together, the Gladiator's powertrain offers drivers a best-in-class available gas towing capacity of up to 7,700 pounds, along with a best-in-class 1,725-pound payload capacity.

The Gladiator captures Jeep's legendary off-road chops with three available 4x4 systems. Standard equipment is Command-Trac part-time 4x4, which provides on-the-fly shifting between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive at speeds up to 55 MPH. Meanwhile, Selec-Trac is a full-time automatic system that detects changes in road conditions and makes the necessary adjustments to maintain traction. Finally, Rock-Trac 4x4 is exclusive to the Rubicon trim level, offering a 4:1 gear ratio in four-low mode. The 4:1 gear ratio means that for every four rotations of the transmission output shaft, the wheels will turn once, providing unsurpassed traction by unleashing high amounts of torque while crawling at low speeds. Also aiding in the Gladiator's capability are the Dana 44 heavy-duty front and rear axles, up to 11.6 inches of ground clearance, tow hooks, and more. The Jeep Gladiator's legendary off-roading capability is amplified by the Rubicon and Mojave trims. While both models feature 33-inch all-terrain tires, the Rubicon is designed for tackling rugged terrain, while the Desert Rated Mojave trim is better equipped for tearing up desert dunes! The Rubicon features Rock-Trac 4x4, locking front and rear differentials, electronic sway bar disconnect, red Tenneco 2-inch shock absorbers, off-road rock rails, and more. Meanwhile, the Mojave adds FOX 2.5-inch internal bypass shock absorbers with hydraulic jounce adapters, a one-inch front lift from the factory, a locking rear differential, and a performance hood with a functional hood scoop.
